BMW e60

bmw e60

If there was ever a King of cars the BMW M5 would have to be it. Just recently, production ended on the E60 M5 series with just over 20,000 cars produced. This is even more cars than the prior generation of God like autos made by BMW, which was technically known as the E 39 M5.

bmw e60

The E60 M5 is equipped with one of the most amazing engines ever put into a production car-a 10 cylinder 507 hp monster capable of gobbling up road, gasoline and your credit limit faster than you just read this sentence. What is sad about the end of the E60 M5 production run, is that it brings to an end the last of the BMW M cars' naturally aspirated performance engines.
bmw e60

The new engines are a smaller block, which are twin turbocharged 4.4 L V8's rumored to be pumping out somewhere around 560 hp and 530 foot-pounds of mind bending concrete crushing torque.

bmw e60

Regardless of which car you purchase, or dream of purchasing-none of the BMW M5' are your typical grocery -- getters. These are really best described as rabies infected, insane wolves in the proverbial, conservative, German sheep's clothing.
bmw e60

The E60 M5 will remain as one of the most technologically advanced cars ever produced by BMW with features like individual throttle bodies for their V10 S 82 engine-which delivers knife edge sharp throttle response at the flick of your right foot.

bmw e60

Unleashing this car in P 500 sport mode is something you have to experience to understand. But don't expect to buy this car and feel good about your carbon footprint, because with two fuel pumps on tap and something like 11 miles to the gallon average fuel economy you will no doubt be public enemy number one for the green mafia.
bmw e60

But people don't buy these cars to feel good about how much gas they put in, or how many times they have to replace the rear tires -- they want to be able to have the practicality of a beautiful, conservative, classy four-door sedan and world beating supercar performance in one vehicle.
bmw e60

The design of the E60 M5 has been much maligned by the public and automotive journalists. Chris Bangle was the chief designer for BMW and the Mini group for many years, during which of course the E60 was marketed. Many people call the design "Bangled" and you either really love it or you hate it. However with near 4 second 0 to 60 times blowing your mind, somehow the look of the car becomes less important if it was initially off-putting for you.
bmw e60

Although we have already talked about it, the power plant is inspired from BMWs now defunct association with the BMW McLaren F1 race team. It was a relationship built on technical precision and wringing every possible bit of horsepower out of current and technically advanced engine physics.
bmw e60

Is the BMW E60 M5 the ultimate sports sedan? That depends on how you see this fourth-generation of M5 automobile Yes it is the most powerful car that you can buy in the BMW series of automobiles and compared to the prior generation you are looking at close to a 30% gain in power-and let's not forget that this engine has surpassed that ethereal barrier of 100 hp per liter, which is synonymous with that of present day racecars.

Honda

One of the most popular and reliable car manufacturers in the automotive industry right now is Honda. They are a popular Japanese car maker that has automotive plants all over the globe, including the US. One of Honda's most famous models is the Civic. However, Honda has also extended into the production of the sport-utility vehicle or SUV. At present, Honda's premiere SUV is the CR-V. The CR-V was originally built as a compact station wagon, but as the years have gone by, this vehicle has gradually transformed into a crossover and is currently sold to car finders in markets throughout the globe.
honda

The Honda CR-V was introduced to the automotive market in 1995. The CR-V was originally intended to be a niche vehicle. That was due in part because Honda was hesitant in marketing this model on a large scale. Honda was uncertain if the CR-V would be capable of taking the place of the Honda Passport as an entry-level SUV in the U.S.
honda

Honda's worries were put to rest after entering the CR-V in the 1996 Chicago Auto Show. Car buyers and enthusiasts alike had paid close attention to the CR-V, which was thought to be a good indication of potential sales. In addition to this, Honda also began taking note of the successes Toyota's RAV4 had achieved when it was released to the market.
honda

Due to these factors, the CR-V was released in the US in 1997, alongside other SUVs, such as the Subaru Forrester. Since then, the CR-V has started building its reputation as an in-demand and reliable SUV. As of present, Honda is about to release their fourth generation Honda CR-V, which has many new exciting features that are being offered.
honda

With all its success and popularity, there is still a question that remains uncertain about the Honda CR-V. What does "CR-V" mean? All through the years, Honda has yet to come up with a concrete answer as to what CR-V stands for. In fact there are a lot of interpretations as to what it stands for.

Citroen c3

When looking for a small used car, the used Citroen C3 is a great choice. This handsome new super-mini complete with new facelift inside and out, sensibly swaps sporting pretensions for comfort and great quality.
Complete with its neatly styled interior, economical engines, extremely low running costs and its outstandingly forgiving ride, the used Citroen C3 is now so much more refined, quiet and value for money.
It is chic, sophisticated, and now designed to really rival the likes of the Ford Fiesta. While the newer models still retain the similar rounded shape of the previous Citroen C3, the new car takes a giant leap forward in quality and refinement, and is so much more superior in every department.
When driving on the motorways a used (or new!) Citroen C3 has that big car feel and is refreshingly light and quiet inside, yet it still gives you that nice small car feel when driving around the towns and cities. This Citroen was obviously designed to be comfortable and easy to drive, and this is a feat that it achieves supremely well, with its good all round visibility, very little wind or road noise, and the suspension does a great job of soaking up the bumps and potholes. I have to say, this Citroen C3 definitely offers a ride quality that few other small cars can match!
When it comes to sitting behind the wheel of the used Citroen C3, you get the impression that this is the area where Citroen have really focused on, in order to give it the more up market, higher quality feel than it previously had.
You could get yourself a used Citroen C3 in one of four of the petrol engines that are available, starting with the entry 1.1L - VT which gives you an ok return of 61bhp, next is the 1.4L which comes with a good return of 75bhp, and a nice healthy 46mpg.
The next two engines are co-developed with BMW and are also used in the Mini Cooper and the Peugeot 207, they are the 1.4 VTi 95bhp and the 1.6VTi returning 120bhp, and a good 48mpg, the 1.6 engine is the only engine available in automatic.
There are also three diesel engines on offer in the Citroen C3, starting with the 1.4HDi, 70bhp, followed by the 1.6HDi, 90bhp, giving you a really good 66mpg. This is also the same engine that is used in the Citroen C3
